Whispering Pines is tucked away just North-East of Payson, Arizona near the base of the Mogollon Rim. Climb any of the neighboring hills and you're bound to find an impressive view. Go a little farther 'up' to the Highline Trail or beyond and you'll be amazed at the expansive views you can discover on half-day hikes!
When Summer heat gives way to September and October's crisp mornings, it's time to get the backpack and start roaming the Rim Country hills. With literally hundreds of square miles of forest at your doorstep and groomed trails to lead you to back country adventure, grab a GPS/beacon and find the trail's end -- then keep going!
